Why do we bleed?
To make a baby nest.
We go through a 7 year cycle
Women bleed. Some early, some later in life and some – not at all.
On a Bell curve – this is a general rule
Seasons of a woman’s life

A normal period is likely with the production and circulation of Qi and Blood
A 4 -5 day blood loss every 28/29 days (aligned with the moon ideally – without artificial light – the moon would be governing life flows.
No symphony of symptoms . . no gut, no mood, no energy fluctuations. No pain or gushing, no exhaustion after the reasonable loss of what was to be a baby nest. For at least 3 decades – from 7 x 2 till 7 x 7 at least . . and often (as a Bell curve) spilling over at both edges.
When we are ‘stressed’ we may experience changes. When we become more regular in life again – the old usual may return.
A normal period with unprotected sexual contact with a man is likely to stop periods – as pregnancy is the natural end of a cycle. If hormonal period regulation is used – the body may object, and life may take an interesting turn. And when life is difficult – this may be reflected in menstrual changes.
If a period is ‘out of order’, the pregnancy may not be as easy as it could have otherwise been.
Learning to be dynamic to go with the tides of life. Growing and expanding as we learn from life
